Nigerians speak on buhari/Tinubu London medical tourism as Doctors back Home are on strike

Photos of President Muhammadu Buhari and former Lagos State governor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, in London today has got Nigerians talking. Both men are in London seeing their doctors when the doctors in Nigerian are on strike over allowances. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is credited with helping the All Progressive Congress (APC) into power.

When President Buhari is known for regularly checking in London hospital for checkups over an undisclosed ailment which got him bedridden in his first term and almost took his life, Mr. Tinubu on the other hand has been in and out of the country for medical check up lately.

With known ambition that he wants to takeover from President Buhari, Mr. Tinubu must keep his health issues secretly as it could affect his chances.

On seeing the photos of both President Buhari and Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in London, Nigerians have been talking.

“Two sick people receiving treatment abroad they cannot provide at home…shame on you both ..if UK 🇬🇧 have left their hospitals dilapidated..where would you have gone ..werey p.r.e.s.i.d.i.o.t.” -Williams Tosin

“I wished them Quick recovery As Doctors strike about to enter 3rd week in Nigeria…Am very sure team of Doctors attending to them in UK there must be a Nigeria trained Doctor.” -Shamsu Abdullahi

“Both are taking good medical attention abroad and our Doctors are on strike here.
How else can u describe WICKEDNESS and FAILURE?” -Paul Chima

“Aithough that we are leaving outside our nation, we are aware of the hardship this old person is putting our brothers and sisters (Nigerians) intentionally. We learnt that his dogs (costums) killed many people in his( Buhari) state, but he refused to say a word. Allah doesn’t sleep, he will get u back to him.” -Abdullah Isma’il

Most the comments the Facebook wall of Bashir Ahmed were angry voices over failure of the Buhari’s government to provide healthcare in the country and going out to get it with his national APC leader. Majority of those commenting and on social media from all across the nation are expressing disappointment with Buhari and Ahmed Tinubu.
