GUYUK new Chief, Kuruhaye Dishon Dansanda, in Adamawa State accused of assaulting subject.

The new Chief of GUYUK is being accused of assaulting one Mr. Mohammed Danjuma Grema. Mr. Mohammed was badly beaten by the bodyguards of Chief Dansanda, over what NEWISSUES learned was that he was trying to switch on his generator set when the Chief was passing by. The Chief who expects everyone to now and greet him felt slighted and ordered his bodyguards to beat him up.
Mr. Mohammed Danjuma Grema was the son of the former Chief. Speaking to some people in Adamawa State over this issue, they however say, this is beyond switching on of generator set. The said the title for the Chieftaincy position was fiercely contested and it would definitely have to do with rivalry.
Sources from GUYUK informed New Issues Magazine that since taking over power about three months ago, Chief Dansanda’s bodyguards with his approval have been on rampage assaulting his subjects.
Mr. Mohammed Grema has since reported the case to the police.
Gov. Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa last month approved the appointment of Mr. Kuruhaye Dansanda as the new First Class Chief of Lunguda Chiefdom in Guyuk Local Government Area of the state.
