The Polish Embassy in Maitama, Abuja has been closed due to the Colonavirus ravaging Europe. The embassy announced this by posting the notice outside the embassy. This morning people who had appointment at the embassy were shown the notice. The embassy will be close from 17th March to 31st March 2020. 

The notice says:

Due to the closure of Poland’s borders and travel restrictions within the European Union, The Polish Consulate in Abuja, will be closed from 17th March to 31st March 2020.

All appointments are automatically cancelled. We apologise for any inconvenience. 

Polish citizens and Citizens of the European Union countries should used the emergency telephone number of the Polish Embassy in emergency situations.

The telephone number is available on the website of the Polish Embassy in Abuja.

The Coronavirus has stopped so many activities in Europe and across the globe.
