He went missing 365 days ago. Dadiatta disappeared and the government was accused of abducting and locking him up. The DSS denied having him. The fingers of accusation is pointing directly at the government and the government doesn’t seem to care that Dadiatta is missing or care that they are being directly accused by the people.
From an ardent supporter of the President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, Dadiatta suddenly changed allegiance when his mentor, former Governor of Kano State, Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso left the APC for the PDP. He started criticizing the APC, Governor Ganduje and Governor Nasir El-Rufai on social media.
Everyone believes, at least today, that he disappeared because of his criticism of the government and some actors in the government.
One year after his disappearance, there is no news from anywhere about Dadiatta. Today people are wondering whether he is alive or dead. One thing most people agree is that he is in the custody of the government security apparatuses, Nigeria’s Secret Police especially.
