Festus Keyamo (SAN) has sued Presidential candidate of the People Democartic Party (PDP) and former Vice President of Nigeria, Mr. Atiku Abubakar.
He is seeking that Nigeria’s anti-corruption bodies open up an investigation over accusation by one Mike Achimugu, who claimed he was Atiku’s Media Aide. In a video Mike Achimugu released last week, he pleaded with Nigerians not to vote Atiku Abubakar over what he claimed he was doing because of patriotism. He then played an audio phone conversation with Atiku over a press release he wanted to issue on Atiku’s behalf over alleged N100million from Plateau State governor then to an account.
The pseudo account called SPV was specifically for siphoning money for PDP campaign. In the video one can hear Atiku saying the account was his idea but the then President Obasanjo was aware of it.
Atiku has not addressed the issue himself but his spokesman Dino Melaye tried to play it down by saying Mike Achimugu was never Atiku’s Media Aide and that the audio was not Atiku’s voice.

The APC have been calling on Atiku Abubakar to step down over the allegation of corruption and the PDP have also asked the APC presidential candidate to step down over corruption.
