NEW ISSUES spoke to Kenneth Idama, the Nigerian agent that brokered the Paul Onuachu deal this morning. Ken Idama was in Belgium and I called him from Brighton, United Kingdom.
First, Ken was excited that the deal has finally been concluded after a long negotiation. He said Onuachu is a great player and the Premier League is where he should be so that the whole world would see his potential and for now Southampton is the place to be. He believes Paul Onuacho will do well and he Will score goals wherever he is. “We are not promising anything but I know Onuachu will give everything and I believe in him. One thing I know for sure is that when he settles down he will score goals. We have seen him do that in Belguim, in the Super Eagles, and I believe he will do it in England.”
Kenneth Idama is one of the biggest Nigerian agents in Europe right now bringing in talents from home and fixing them in clubs across Europe. He has brought more than 10 players to Croatia alone in the past seven years and more to Belguim and other European countries. Onuachu will be his first player in the premier league.
