Nigerian Army beaten by colleagues for stealing ammunition

In a video posted social media, a Nigerian Army man was seen being flogged by colleagues for stealing the ammunition of one of them. In the video he was alledged to have stolen the magazine and sold it to bandits.

The young army officer did not talk in the video, or try to defend himself. The colleagues call the officer in question Lance Corporal Emma.

NEWISSUES has not been able to verify if such punish are allowed in the Nigerian Army, and why they took the law into their hand instead of reporting to their superiors.
