In a video clip that has gone viral on social media, a man called on Nigerian Army to take over Nigeria, others joined in cheering.
This has been the debate among struggling Nigerians today, with many calling on the Nigerian Army to take over because of the military coups across West Africa which was due to bad governance.
However, military coups hasn’t done any better for Nigeria or Africa in the past. The characters of Nigerian politicians since 1999 that the military took over clearly shows why the military interfered in governance. Politicians only care about their personal welfare, neglecting the people of the nation and the affairs of the nation.
When military coup may look impossible at the moment, no one can tell what would happen anytime soon. Few months ago, protesters protesting hunger in northern Nigeria, majorly Muslim North, were seen carrying Russian flags all around demanding for foreign intervention to topple the Tinubu led government.
