NEWISSUESReal Madrid boss, Carlo Ancelotti has made a heartwarming claim about departing veteran defender, Nacho Fernandez.
The player has parted ways with the club after he made his decision official on June 25, 2024.
The player was leaving after 23 years and the La Liga champions held an institutional event to pay tribute and bid farewell to the former captain on Wednesday.
Club president, Florentino Pérez was in attendance as well.
Ancelotti described the 34-year-old as a blessing to any manager.
The Italian manager said (via @MadridXtra), “Having players like Nacho is a blessing for any manager. He will forever be in the heart of Real Madrid.”
