The Vice President of Nigeria, Kashim Shettima, was not informed of the tax bill by the president’s office or the presidency, and that is why he did not interfere in the raging debate as he has many other serious commitments of national importance, a source in the Vice President’s office confided to NEWISSUES magazine.
Nigerians were suprised at the reaction of the Vice President’s governor, Mr. Babagana Umara Zulm, and Senator Ali Ndume, from Borno, who championed the attack on the tax bill, saying it would destroy the North.
The attack on the Vice President by the duo of Governor Zulum and Senetor Ndume has now resulted to speculation that there is a plot to remove the Vice President in 2027.
However, NEWISSUES has confirmed that there is no plot to remove the Vice President as such discussion is a figment of the writer’s inagination.
