Fulani herdsmen have kìlled the brother of journalist Agba Jalingo in Agatu, Benue State. Mr. Jalingo who calls himself Citizen Agba Jalingo reported the incident on Facebook.
Again, tragedy has befallen my family and Bedia village.My younger brother AB. CA Agba SS7358, who was serving as part of the Nigerian Navy contingent of Operation Whirl Stroke OPWS, in Benue State was killed in an attack in Agatu LGA, on 1st October 2024.
“Their deployment at Eguma Community in Agatu LGA, was attacked by armed bandits.
“May your soul find safe passage.”
Agatu has been a hotbed of crisis in Idoma land, where Fulani herdsmen have been attacking locals over grazing on their land.
