There was a time when Ali Sami Yen Stadium in Instanbul was the hardest place for any opposition, even the almighty Real Madrid with its superstar galaticos. “Welcome to hell” greets the opponent at Galatasaray stadium. And it is hell. Galatasaray would fight till the end. When hell was hell no one wins in hell. That was the glorious years of Galatasaray with some of the finest players out of Turkey. In the early 2000s, Ali Sami Yen Stadium earn its reputation as hell. Some of the Galatasaray players that period would dominate Turkish national team and take Turkey to the semi final of the 2002 World Cup, notable among them, Hasan Sas and Hakan Shukur. This is where Osimhen has landed and the passionate fan would want something special.
This is an electrifying football loving and crazy fans, one of the most passionate fans in Europe. How they welcome Osimhen says it all. The pressure is on. They would want performance, a replication of what Osimhen did at Napoli. All the club gunning for Osimhen want that from him, he has to score goals. If he leads hell and show hell to any opponent that comes to Ali Sami Yen Stadium, the fans would love him, the best clubs in Europe and now Saudi Arabia, would broke the bank to get him. It all depends on Osimhen now. He needs to earn the respect he deserves and hell is the perfect opportunity.
