A politician and journalist, Malam Junaidu Abubakar ,has lauded the speaker, Dr Tajudeen Abbas (Iyan Zazzau), for his exceptional leadership in the last one year.
Malam Junaidu, in a statement on Wednesday, said the speaker has led the House with knowledge, wisdom, integrity, and dedication in the last one year, while navigating the complex legislative issues with ease.
He noted that under Dr Abbas’ leadership, the green chamber has achieved remarkable milestones, as well as fulfilling campaign promises and satisfying constituents’ needs.
According to him, ” in the last year, Speaker Dr Abbas has demonstrated exceptional leadership, guiding the House with knowledge, wisdom, integrity, and dedication.
“No one else could have led the parliament with such distinction, navigating complex legislative terrains with ease and finesse.
“ Dr. Abbas is an asset to Nigeria, President Bola Tinubu, and the entire National Assembly. His unique blend of liberalism, nationalism, and patriotism has endeared him to all. He is a true statesman, always willing to speak truth to power, without fear or favour.”
Junaidu added that “under his leadership, the House has achieved remarkable milestones, fulfilling campaign promises and satisfying constituents’ needs. New members are inspired by his dedication and inclusiveness.
“He has equally fulfilled his promises to us, and members are happy with him. We pray for him every day, grateful for his selfless service.”
